Direct Access Scheme

Course requirements

    i) You must have a CBT certificate
ii) You must have passed the DSA's Motorcycle Theory Test.
iii) You must be at least 21 years old.

This course begins with an introduction to the larger machine including the power and weight difference between this and the bike you rode on your CBT. After this discussion you will recieve on site training to familiarise you with the larger motorcycle. Once you are comfortable with the differences you will got out on the road with your instructor who will be in radio contact with you to give direction and instruction towards getting a full unrestricted motorcycle lisence.

Training for the direct access test is variable depending on experience but we find that it usually takes three to four days training for someone who has passed a CBT and has riding experience and an extra day for a complete novice with day 1 covering the same material as the CBT. AtoZ CBT certificate holders are offered a free one hour practical test assessment to establish how much training is needed for you to pass your direct access test.
